Sturgeon Capital is a London-based investment boutique developing top technology enterprises in emerging regions. Sturgeon is a premier frontier investing firm that is interested in enterprises that provide goods or services that address unmet, acute pain points in extremely large potential markets. The company works with entrepreneurs to create a more efficient, financially inclusive world.

The Challenge

When we were contacted by Sturgeon Capital, we knew it would be a challenge. Their building has been experiencing connectivity issues for years, and their current provider couldn’t seem to solve them. They needed an external company with the expertise to tackle this problem quickly.

We spent time on site with Mariana and her team, learning about their business and reviewing mobile usage patterns. We studied their building layout in detail, identifying dead spots and areas where connectivity was lacking. Then we came up with a plan to provide connectivity throughout the whole building, including the dead spots.

We knew that the best way to ensure that everyone could connect in every corner of the building would be by mounting an external antenna with internal antenna strategically placed throughout their office. We had to convince Mariana and the team that this was what needed to be done – even though they were worried about the cost and time involved in installing new hardware and extra cables.

The Outcome

We’re proud to report that our data cable installation services have resulted in full mobile signal throughout the building, and our client is thrilled with the new Wi-Fi connectivity.
